I would recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof. I am a first time home owner who was in need of a new roof and I didn’t know a ton about the whole process. Lockhart was easy to get a hold of and set up an appointment for an estimate. Gary (who came out to do my estimate) was very professional and knowledgeable. Everything was explained in detail up front as far as what I could expect through the whole process and the work that was going to be performed. I received an estimate a few days after the appointment. I had a few questions about the estimate and received quick responses from Lockhart. The materials for the new roof showed up the day before they started and were placed on the roof. The crew completed the roof within a few days (a lot faster than I was expecting) and cleaned my yard thoroughly (I haven’t spotted any nails in my yard). They brought in a dump truck instead of a dumpster for the old shingles, so I didn’t have to worry about a dumpster scraping up my driveway. "I would like to thank Terry Lockhart for turning a horrible experience into a fantastic project. I originally had a complete roof tear off and replacement done in late November 2013 by a well known competitor. I assumed because of the company’s reputation, the roofing project would go fairly smoothly. We were initially supposed to have a roof done in mid- October, but the project did not start until late November. The crew first showed up without proper drip edge color that we had chosen months prior. My sister and I were told to get a custom color to match our existing aluminum fascia and trim it would take about 6 weeks to order. So things just continued to go south. It took over a week to complete this botched up roof job. In the end the quality and appearance of the job was undeniably bad. The shingles were buckled, nails sticking up, flashing reused, roof vents looked weird, bad cuts and etc. We attempted to filed a claim through the bank, but they had already paid the company before we even completed a customer satisfaction agreement or a signed approval. After noticing the shingles constantly shedding and getting nowhere with the roofing company, I initially contacted the building department, an independent home inspector to inspect the roof as well as Lockhart Roofing for a roof inspection.
